The 9 charismatic effects can be lessened to three extents:

a. Referent Power - Power that results from characteristics that command employee's respect, identification & admiration, so that they desire to follow the leader.

b. Expert Power - Power that branches from special knowledge of or skill in the tasks performed by employees, such as lecturer.

c. Job involvement.

Charismatic leaders will encourage group members to be job involved.

The Development of Charisma

A person can increase his/her charisma by developing some of the characteristics, traits, and behaviours of charismatic leaders. We will highlight on five behaviours of charismatic people that can be developed through practice and discipline.

1. Create vision for others
Visionary person looks beyond the instantaneous future to create an image of what the company is capable of becoming.

2. Be enthusiastic, optimistic, and energetic.
A significant quality of charismatic people is that they preserve high enthusiasm, optimism, and energy throughout their entire workday and ahead of.

3. Be sensible persistent.
If an idea or product will not work, the sensible charismatic take up the loss and moves in another, to more gainful direction.

4. Remember names of people.
The personal interest charismatic leaders take in their work relates contributes to their capability to remember the names of many people.

5. Be honest.
Charismatic person is typically explicit in giving his/her appraisal of a situation, whether the appraisal is positive or negative.
